Food/Beverage Vendor
Food Preparation Rules:
⭐️If you are cooking and preparing everything onsite at the festival, you do not need to be a registered cottage food business or use a commercial kitchen.
⭐️**However, if any part of your food or beverage is prepared at home or offsite, you must either:
Be a registered cottage food business, OR Prepare food in a certified commercial kitchen (must have proper licensing).
⭐️Vending Setup: Vendors are responsible for bringing their own setup, including: Tent, Table, Chairs, Power source (if needed. Unless renting from the festival for a additional fee)
• Food vendors may bring a small table and chair set for their patrons. Please ask us first, we need to approve your plan. That is mandatory!!!!
⭐️Open Flame/Propane Use: If you’re using open flames or propane, you are required to obtain an Open Flame Permit from Baltimore City Fire & EMS.
We can assist you in obtaining it.
⭐️Space & Category Reservation: Your space will NOT be held. You must complete registration and payment to be fully registered. Once YOUR category is fully reserved, no additional spots will be accepted.
⭐️Tasting Requirement: All food and beverage vendors must offer at least (1) one tasting item (sample size) priced under $10. Everything else can be regular price. Attendees are coming to taste—make sure they can sample your offerings!
